Every politician I ever heard at an AIPAC speech has promised their unwavering support for Israel.
What is AIPAC? It stands for American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
|The mission of AIPAC is to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.
AIPAC’s staff and citizen activists educate decision makers about the bonds that unite the United States and Israel and how it is in America’s best interest to help ensure that the Jewish state is safe, strong and secure.
Cooperation between the two countries is advantageous for both nations. As America's bipartisan pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC urges all members of Congress to support Israel through foreign aid, government partnerships, joint anti-terrorism efforts and the promotion of a negotiated two-state solution – a Jewish state of Israel and a demilitarized Palestinian state.
Wow, they don't even try to hide what they do. Just go to their site linked above. They are there to keep politicians in line for a pro-Israel agenda.
I thought we already have an agenda. It's called the Constitution. Our politicians should pledge allegiance to this flag....
Jesus once said, "you can not serve two masters." When politicians pledge their allegiance to Israel they cannot keep their oath to support and defend the Constitution. I think it's obvious they don't keep their oath. But when it's time to vote for money or weapons for Israel, most do that. And no President has ever vetoed this "aid" to Israel.
American politicians are serving Israel, not the American people. Just thought you should know.[/img]
